ASSESSMENT SERVICES:
Your call to us will be answered by a behavioral health professional and we will schedule a free, confidential assessment for you or your loved one.
Our assessment involves:
A free, confidential, face-to-face interview with no obligation.
A discussion of current issues you are having and their effect on those around you and your family.
An explanation of insurance benefits and the cost of treatment by a financial counselor.
A discussion of your recommended treatment plan with your clinician and your family.
After we determine the level of care you need together, you can enter a SSBH program or we will provide you with resources in your community that can help you or your loved one with his or her behavioral health.

South Sound Behavioral Hospital Visitation Guidelines
No Walk-Ins
All visitors must call to schedule a visitation prior to coming.
To schedule a visit, call 360-764-8400 after 9:30 AM.
Visits are available on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday only.
Monday and Thursday Visits
Adults:
6:00-6:30 PM
Check-in at 5:45 PM
Adolescents:
6:30-7:00 PM
Check-in at 6:15 PM
Sunday Visits
Adults:
3:00-3:30 PM
Check-in at 2:45 PM
Adolescents:
3:30-4:00 PM
Check-in at 3:15 PM
Please confirm the visit by calling the night prior or the morning of the visit to ensure the patient has cafeteria privileges.
Two visitors are permitted.
Minors age 13 and older must be accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult over the age of 18.
Items Not Permitted During the Patient’s Stay at SSBH
Three outfits are allowed. The following items are not permitted:
- No hoodies
- No strings
- No belts
- No shoes with shoelaces
- No tank tops with strings
- No blankets or pillows
- No hardcover books
- No toiletries, as these are provided unless there is an allergy and approval is given by the provider
- No tampons
- No medication without the prescription bottle
- No flowers or outside food for the patient
